Beachwalk : Inchydoney Beach, Clonakilty, Cork

Inchydoney Beach is a beautiful blue flag beach just 10 minutes from Clonakilty Town in Cork. Inchydoney itself is a small island, long connected to the mainland by two causeways.

This is a lovely beach to take a short walk on, anytime of the year. As the beach is quite sandy, it would not be very buggy friendly for a walk.

The Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa (link) also overlooks the beach, so this is a great option for a walk for its residences.

Beachwalk : Ardmore Beach, Waterford

Recently visited the lovely town of Ardmore in Waterford. It is believed to be the oldest Christian settlement in Ireland. It offers many attractions including cliff walks and an open farm but if you are looking for a nice short walk check out the beautiful beach. It’s about a mile long and there is parking available by the beach. Enjoy!

Beachwalk: Rossbeigh Beach,  Kerry

Located about 2km from the village of Glenbeigh on the Ring of Kerry,  Rossbeigh beach is a great place to go for a short walk.

There is a large car park at the beach for unless it’s the peak season,  it’s easy to park up.  Photo below taken on a fresh December morning.
